Seattle Neighborhood

Located just north of the downtown core, Belltown is the perfect place for young professionals who are looking for a lively social scene. Here are some of our favorite things about this vibrant neighborhood:

Reinvented and reinvigorated
Belltown used to be a low-rent hub for light industry and small businesses, but in recent decades has been transformed into a bustling neighborhood full of cafes, boutiques and nightclubs. A little bit of that industrial edge still exists, adding to the unique vibe of the area.

Eat your heart out
According to nabewise.com, Belltown scored a 9.5 out of 10 for dining. Bottom line: this is good food. Visit local favorite Hot Dog Joe’s or try the foodie favorite Dahlia Lounge. This neighborhood boasts some of the best seafood in the Pacific Northwest, as evidenced by the world-famous Pike Place Market just on its border.

Something for everyone
Options in Belltown are endless. Listen to live music at The Crocodile. Jog along Puget Sound. Explore the Olympic Sculpture Park. Browse the shops along 1st and 2nd avenues, or enjoy some deep-fried heaven at Top Pot Doughnuts.

Lofty living
The most common housing options in Belltown are condos or lofts above ground-level retail shops. This makes the neighborhood ideal for singles and young professionals.Seattle Neighborhood Spotlight: BelltownThe housing prices are extremely reasonable — especially when you consider Belltown’s proximity to Seattle’s downtown core.
